Release notes - Evolving daily

Our system runs on your feedback. Every bug report and feature request gets tracked and shipped fast for the smoothest audio experience.

v0.41.3Short, plain download names that say which stem is which
  • ImprovedDownloads from every tool get shorter names: Vietnamese without diacritics, dashes instead of spaces, and the stem at the end, for example Ten-Bai-Hat-Top-Ca.vocals.mp3. A re-download from your activity history gets the same name.
  • ImprovedThe backing track is always named instruments, whichever engine separated it.
  • ImprovedAudio converter: MP3, M4A and WAV files include the chosen setting in the file name (for example Song.192k.mp3 or Song.44100hz.wav), while FLAC keeps the base name (Song.flac).
  • FixedPDF to MIDI: a one-page score whose MuseScore step fails now still gives you the MIDI file, with a note that this run has no .mscz.
  • InternalBetter recording and alerting of failed runs on the server, plus operations docs (no visible change for users).
v0.41.2Downloaded files keep the track's name on every page
  • FixedDownloaded files keep the track's name on every page, including PDF to MIDI results and each separated stem, instead of a random string.
  • ImprovedThe download button shows when a file is being prepared, offers a retry when the connection fails, and says clearly when the file has been cleaned up from the server, instead of opening an empty tab.
  • ImprovedIf you leave the page during a paid run and the server finishes it afterwards, the result is still in your activity history to download. Energy is refunded only when the run really failed.
  • ImprovedWhen the server has not confirmed a result yet, the tool page checks again a few times and points you to your activity history instead of showing an error.
  • InternalUnder-the-hood improvements to how runs are settled and recorded, no visible change for users.
v0.41.1Long pitch and speed exports fail less, with clearer error messages
  • ImprovedChanging pitch or speed on a long song uses less memory, so weaker devices and browsers with many tabs open are less likely to stop halfway.
  • FixedWhen your device runs out of memory while exporting a pitch or speed change, you now see a message to close some tabs and reload the page, instead of a generic error.
  • FixedEnglish pages no longer show Vietnamese error messages from the pitch and speed tools.
  • FixedThe prompt to press Separate again after an upload has expired now follows the page language.
  • FixedWhen you hit the request limit, you now see how many seconds to wait instead of a generic error.
  • FixedThe preview of an invite link that does not work now says so, instead of promising a gift.
  • ImprovedThe footer spells the ecosystem name AIObox, matching its brand.
  • InternalUnder-the-hood improvements: failures on your device are now recorded with their cause so they can be fixed faster, memory is released more thoroughly after each export, usage stats record where each run happened, and a duplicate request after a paid-run confirmation in the vocal remover is gone (no visible change for users).
v0.41.0A dedicated Invite friends page and a short, readable invite link
  • NewThe invite program has its own page, one click from the sidebar: see what one invited friend earns you through a worked example, how it works and the payout conditions before you even sign in. Once signed in, your code, invite link, friends who used it, commission wallet and payout history sit on that same page; your profile keeps a compact card that leads there.
  • ImprovedThe invite link is less than half as long and carries the code in its path. The person who opens it lands on a page written for them: what Tách Nhạc is, their gift, the next step, and the option to try the tool before signing in. A code that cannot be used is said plainly instead of promising a gift. Links already sent keep working.
  • ImprovedAfter signing in you are told once whether the invite code was applied, and why not if it was not; the Energy top-up box reminds you of the gift waiting on your first top-up.
  • FixedOpening an invite link with a wrong code no longer blocks a correct link opened afterwards.
  • ImprovedThe copy button says so when the browser refuses to copy and tells you how to copy by hand; an account that can no longer enter an invite code sees why instead of an empty space.
  • ImprovedThe sidebar keeps the current section lit on its sub-pages, secondary text is easier to read on the dark background, and keyboard users can see where the focus is.
  • ImprovedThe Terms of Use, the Invite friends page and the guide now state that the payout meeting belongs to akidev (akidev.org), and point to the right page for getting your code, entering one and seeing the payout history.
  • InternalUnder the hood: the program page is correctly listed in the sitemap, an occasional rendering glitch on page load is gone, views of invite links are counted together, shared pieces were consolidated and the docs updated.
v0.40.1Invite links get their own preview card and two guides to the program
  • ImprovedPaste an invite link into Zalo, Messenger or Facebook and the preview now shows the program's own card: invite friends and earn 50% cash on every top-up, and the person receiving the link gets 30% extra Energy on the first top-up. The link opens the page that explains the gift instead of the home page; links already sent keep working.
  • NewTwo articles on the invite program: one for the inviter (what you earn, where to get your code, how the monthly payout works, what gets an account locked) and one for the invited friend (what the code gives you, how to claim it, where to type the code when the link did not apply it, the conditions).
  • ImprovedThe invite section on the profile page states the cash part first and Energy second, and links to the guide; the message sent with the share button tells the receiver what they get.
  • InternalThe program's card and illustrations are drawn automatically from the program's own figures, so they stay correct when a rate changes (no visible change for users).
v0.40.0Invite friends: earn Energy and a cash commission on their top-ups
  • NewInvite program: every account gets a 6-character invite code and a share link on the profile page. Each time someone you invited tops up, you receive 30% extra of the Energy they bought and 50% of the amount paid into a commission wallet, for 1 year from when they used your code. Commission is paid by bank transfer after the akidev meeting on day 02 of every month, once your balance reaches 100,000đ and you attend the meeting.
  • NewThe invited person gets 30% extra Energy on their first top-up. Open the invite link, or enter the code on the profile page within 7 days of creating the account; the top-up window shows the extra Energy as soon as the payment lands.
  • ImprovedThe Terms of Use gain an Invite program section: a single level, when a code activates, how long it lasts, the conditions for a payout, and account locking when one person invites themselves through several accounts.
  • FixedDrop a file on the home page, then open the media converter: the file now joins the conversion list. Before, it was dropped without any notice.
  • InternalAdmin tooling: a money in, out and net summary by date range, a page to track and pay invite commissions, account locking for fraud, and alerts on suspected self-invites (no visible change for users).
v0.39.0Three new speaker and headphone test guides; every guide gets a lead photo
  • NewThree new bilingual guides: a left/right speaker and headphone test (a symptom table for a swapped, mono-forced, unbalanced or dead channel), checking a speaker for reversed wiring polarity with the right-channel phase-invert switch, and a hearing frequency range test (age-related hearing loss, WHO safe-listening levels). Each guide cites its sources.
  • ImprovedEvery guide now opens with a lead photo, which doubles as its share image (og:image); 16 guides, old and new, gained their own illustration, several using real screenshots of the tool they describe (sound test, vocal remover, downloader, pitch changer).
  • InternalUnder-the-hood copy correction on the sound-test guide text to match the tool's current behavior, no visible feature change.
v0.38.0Speaker test with a log-axis spectrogram, view counts on every page, six new guides
  • NewThe speaker and headphone test now draws the left and right channel live while playing, with a scrolling spectrogram on a logarithmic or linear frequency axis, logarithmic by default so bass and treble both get room. Three buttons, Left, Center and Right, replace the balance slider; invert the phase and the right lane flips. It opens on a 440 Hz sine, centered, at 40% volume. Every waveform button shows its shape, and the tool has its own icon.
  • NewSix new guides: pulling music out of a YouTube or TikTok video, free vocal-remover websites, apps and desktop software compared, separating music inside CapCut versus a dedicated tool, separating drums, bass, piano and guitar from a song, removing vocals on a phone with no app, and copyright when separating music.
  • NewEvery public page now shows its own view count, refreshed on each real visit instead of waiting on a cache; on tool pages and the home page it sits right under the title.
  • ImprovedThe vocal remover's title and description now say "beat extraction" and "vocal remover" outright; the home page carries the Tách Nhạc brand prefix; per-tool changelog dates no longer clutter the page's heading outline.
  • ImprovedThe vocal remover's guide now correctly names the server engine (Spleeter) as the default and gains a video-source question; the noise, beat, karaoke and cover articles link to the new guides and drop a noise mode that never existed; the media converter and link downloader now say they extract audio from video.
  • ImprovedRemoved an internal architecture article that was not meant for visitors.
  • ImprovedThe privacy line now says what actually happens: your file is processed on your device and is not sent anywhere, replacing the "nothing leaves your device" phrasing on many pages; applied to every tool, the About page and the articles.
  • ImprovedSliders across the site show a pointer cursor, so it is clear which ones can be dragged.
  • FixedThe speaker and headphone test no longer flashes an unsupported-browser box before it finishes loading.
  • FixedThe updated, runs and views line under a tool title now wraps cleanly on narrow screens instead of overflowing.
  • InternalRetired the old per-tool view counter now that the new one exists, tidied the change log and added an automatic check on the release record; no visible change.
v0.37.0New speaker and headphone test, plus run and view counts on every tool
  • NewNew Speaker and Headphone Test: play sine, square, triangle and sawtooth waves or white and pink noise, pick any frequency, listen to the left or right channel alone, and flip polarity to check speaker wiring. Free, right in your browser.
  • NewEach tool page now shows how many times it has been viewed, and how many times it has been used once enough runs have completed.
  • NewWhen a run needs Energy, the notice now says which free limit you reached: runs used up, track too long, file too large, or number of stems.
  • NewThe link downloader is easier to find when searching in Vietnamese without accents.
  • NewPDF to MIDI now says clearly that photos and scans cannot be read yet, and adds retry buttons when a preview fails, without losing your result.
  • ImprovedThe back button now sits right under the tool header, so you can return to your download without scrolling.
  • ImprovedThe separation result screen explains what live or heavily compressed recordings may leave behind, and how to lower the backing by remixing the stems.
  • ImprovedThe about and contact pages present the manual audio team as two people, with Kiệt as a specialist partner.
  • ImprovedClearer, more consistent wording on the vocal remover, pitch and speed pages, especially in English.
  • ImprovedArticles no longer show a "Reviewed by" line under the title.
  • FixedArticles now use the full width on phones: the text is no longer squeezed by the hidden table of contents column.
  • FixedBatch conversion no longer spends Energy before you have seen the price: the price notice now shows in time, and if it was not on screen you confirm once before the first paid file.
  • FixedMessages about used-up runs, signing in or missing Energy now appear in English on English pages.
  • FixedA run that finishes with no files now shows an error saying your Energy was refunded, instead of an empty result screen.
  • InternalUnder-the-hood work to keep limits and prices coming from one source, no visible change for users.
v0.36.3Accurate update date on three spectrogram guides
  • FixedThree spectrogram guides that just gained an FAQ now show their correct latest update date.
v0.36.2Clearer, better-linked L/R spectrogram guides
  • ImprovedThe left/right channel guides now include an animated demo of switching channels, extra frequently asked questions, and cross-links so you move between them in the right learning order.
  • FixedCorrected the shown update date on the two newest guides so their article data is valid.
v0.36.1Version sits next to Releases
  • ImprovedThe version number is now a small pill on the Releases row in the menu, matching the rest of the ecosystem, instead of a corner overlay.
v0.36.0Guides for checking audio by L/R channel
  • NewTwo new bilingual guides show how to use the spectrogram L/R switch to identify mono, stereo, left/right imbalance or a missing channel.
  • ImprovedFeature documentation now matches the instant left/right view and how its guides appear in search.
v0.35.9View the left/right channel on the spectrogram
  • NewFor stereo files, the spectrogram tool gains an L/R button to view the left or right channel on its own: one click switches instantly, keeping the same size and frequency scale. Handy for comparing the two channels and spotting mono or fake stereo files.
  • InternalImproved internal error alerts so the team can pinpoint failures faster, no change to how the tools work for users.
v0.35.8Internal admin tooling improvement
  • InternalUpgraded an internal admin tool, no change to how the tools work for users.
v0.35.7Share cards and spectrogram screenshot match the new images
  • ImprovedThe spectrogram page and its related articles now use the current tool screenshot. Sharing an article on social media shows that same image.
  • ImprovedThe site's default share image now matches the new artwork in size and description.
  • InternalAdded an automatic check so the site cannot point at a deleted image file, no change to how the tools work.
v0.35.6Downloader description fix, tighter release process
  • FixedFixed an invalid character in the downloader page's English description.
  • InternalAdded a mandatory pre-release check to catch this class of issue earlier, no impact on user-facing experience.
v0.35.5Clearer YouTube-to-MP3 downloader, RegMail added to footer
  • ImprovedThe link downloader page now explicitly mentions YouTube-to-MP3 support, easier to find when that is what you are searching for.
  • ImprovedThe Kinh Dịch product link in the footer now points to its new domain.
  • NewAdded RegMail to the Aki ecosystem product list in the footer.
v0.35.4Internal improvement, no visible change
  • InternalImproved accuracy of the internal (admin) traffic-source report, no impact on user-facing experience.
v0.35.3MP3 export fix and a few small polish items
  • FixedMP3 export in the pitch-changer, speed-changer, and audio-cutter tools was completely broken after the previous update, due to a library-loading issue. This is now fixed and MP3 export works again.
  • ImprovedThe downloader's trim-range field now accepts minute:second input (e.g. 1:30), not just raw seconds.
  • FixedViewing the spectrogram after downloading a video from the downloader tool now works correctly instead of landing on an empty page.
  • InternalImproved traffic-source report accuracy in the admin dashboard, no visible change for users.
v0.35.2Pitch/speed and cutting tools now depend less on outside networks
  • FixedThe pitch-changer, speed-changer, and audio-cutter tools used to fetch a small processing library from an external CDN on every run — if that CDN had a hiccup, the tool would fail even though your device and tachnhac.com were both fine. That library now ships bundled with the site itself, removing the external dependency.
v0.35.1Fixed long-video clip downloads being wrongly rejected
  • FixedChoosing to download a short clip from a long source video (a podcast or livestream, for example) used to get rejected as if you were downloading the whole thing. The system now correctly checks only the length of the clip you picked.
  • ImprovedThe homepage title mentions "tách nhạc" again, helping search engines better understand what the page is about.
  • InternalUnder-the-hood improvements: clarified the real stem counts each separation engine supports, and refreshed engine performance benchmark data.
v0.35.0Articles now credit their author and sources, Audio Cutter's limit fixed
  • NewEvery guide article now shows who wrote it, who reviewed it (when set), and a list of primary sources at the end.
  • FixedAudio Cutter's specs tab now states the real limit instead of a vague "bounded by browser memory" note.
  • FixedRemoved an unsupported comparison claim from Pitch Changer's instructions.
  • InternalInternal improvements to admin tooling and SEO data, no visible change for users.
v0.34.1Fixed the Energy top-up layout and Audio Cutter's input sizing
  • FixedThe Energy top-up page now shows a scannable vertical list, and the quick top-up popup keeps its original grid layout (the previous version had these two swapped).
  • FixedAudio Cutter's start/end time fields are narrower again as intended, instead of the widened version shipped last time.
  • FixedFixed the Energy package list picking up an unintended hover glow effect.
  • InternalUnder-the-hood cleanup: clearer internal naming and shared UI code, no visible change for users.
v0.34.0See technical details and embedded lyrics right in the spectrogram viewer
  • NewThe Spectrogram tool now reads your file's technical details (format, bitrate, duration and more) and shows embedded lyrics if the file has them, right when you upload.
  • NewThe link downloader now supports downloading just a range: enter a start and end second, and only that clip is downloaded instead of the whole track or video.
  • ImprovedLink downloads are now checked more carefully before starting: a dead, oversized or unverifiable link is rejected upfront instead of using up your turn partway through. The preview and file details now stay visible throughout processing.
  • ImprovedWhen a link download fails, the error message now tells you whether the problem is the link itself (dead or unsupported) or a server issue, so you know whether to retry or try a different link.
  • FixedLocal cuts, pitch changes and speed changes now show up correctly in your Run History (completed, failed or cancelled) like every other tool, instead of not appearing at all.
  • ImprovedAudio Cutter: the start/end time fields are wider, and the two processing engines now have clearer names.
  • ImprovedThe Energy top-up screen is now a cleaner, easier-to-scan vertical list, and the QR bank-transfer details box is clearer.
  • InternalThe admin dashboard now has a page-view trend chart per route to track traffic.
  • InternalAdjusted the homepage's search-facing title so the homepage and the Vocal Remover page no longer compete for the same Google search term.
v0.33.2The Release Notes page now records every version
  • FixedThe Release Notes page had skipped a version outright and under-reported the one before it, so the numbers jumped and most of that round's work appeared nowhere. Every release is now recorded, including the ones that are only internal work.
  • InternalAdded an automatic gate that cross-checks the two release records against each other before every build. That comparison used to be a manual step nobody ran, so the records could drift apart in silence until a reader noticed.
v0.33.1The previous update was stuck, and is now live
  • FixedThe previous update never reached the site: the automated build was blocked by a bookkeeping error in our internal docs, so the site kept serving the older version even though the code was ready. All of that update's content reaches you together with this one.
  • InternalThe guard that runs before every build now gives the same verdict on every machine. It could previously pass on the author's machine and fail on the build machine, so a problem only surfaced where nobody could fix it on the spot.
v0.33.0Cancelling no longer costs you a free turn
  • FixedIn the format converter, cancelling a file or removing it from the queue yourself was recorded as a failed run. Your Energy came back, but the day's free turn was still counted against you. A cancel is now recorded as a cancel, and costs you nothing.
  • ImprovedWhen an on-device separation run hits a problem, we now receive the actual cause (missing model data, out of memory, unreadable file…) instead of just "something failed". Nothing changes on your screen, but such problems get fixed a great deal faster.
  • InternalRemoved an abandoned interface prototype page from the site, along with all of its leftover code and routes. This is the largest single deletion the site has had, and it got that much lighter.
  • InternalRouted every colour in the internal admin area through a single source. Nothing looks different, but from now on a colour changes in one place and lands everywhere.
  • InternalAdded an automatic gate that warns when scattered CSS starts growing back, so this cleanup does not quietly undo itself over the next few months.
  • InternalUnified the Energy reserve-and-refund flow into one shared copy instead of one per tool. The drift between those copies is exactly what produced the lost free turn fixed above.
v0.32.0Fixed the on-device vocal remover breaking permanently, plus lighter MP3 output
  • ImprovedOn-device vocal separation results now download as MP3 instead of WAV, much smaller and faster to save.
  • FixedFixed a bug where the on-device vocal remover would suddenly fail forever on a device that had been working fine: the browser sometimes evicts the cached AI model while the page still believes it is there. The page now detects this and re-downloads the missing part, so you no longer have to clear site data by hand.
  • FixedSome older, low-memory NVIDIA graphics cards could finish a run but silently produce an empty result file. This is now detected and automatically retried, no action needed from you.
  • FixedDownloaded filenames are now consistent across every tool and no longer break for Korean, Thai, or Russian titles.
  • FixedTool-page spec tables showed one tier's limit under a general label, so you could be reading the free ceiling while the paid tier actually runs considerably higher. Each tier now has its own row stating its own limit.
  • FixedCleaned up inaccurate wording in the product: removed mentions of a processing "queue" (there has never been one), fixed the cost notice that blamed your file when you had changed the layer count, and corrected the privacy line that claimed "your file never left this device" even for runs started from a pasted link.
  • FixedThe vocal remover's accepted-format list named 9 extensions while the file picker actually accepts 21. It now reads from the same source the picker uses.
  • FixedThe result screen now names each separated layer the same way the picker did, instead of handing back the model's raw English keys.
  • ImprovedThe privacy policy now also discloses that we count where visits come from: Google, social media, or typing the address directly. That count is only totalled per day and is never tied to your account or device.
  • ImprovedFixed the footer's YouTube link (it pointed at a channel that no longer exists) and did a site-wide copy consistency pass.
  • InternalInternal admin tooling improvements (no visible change for users).
  • NewFooter gained links to AIOBox (aiobox.app) and AkiMCP (akimcp.top) in the ecosystem product list.
  • InternalInternal: every indexed page now declares max-image-preview and max-snippet directives for search engines, plus a small wording fix to the footer's build-date label.
  • FixedFixed the model-download confirmation dialog so the size and cost shown match what is actually charged, instead of a fixed number that could be wrong.
v0.31.0About page rewrite, app shortcuts added
  • NewAdded app shortcuts (when installed on your device) for all 8 live tools, so you can jump straight into the one you need.
  • ImprovedThe About page is rewritten to be fuller and more accurate: the 6-year story, a clear old-vs-new comparison, and precise file-retention/privacy wording.
  • FixedFixed a color bleed on the login/gift dialogs, and cleaned up the idle drag-and-drop frame.
  • InternalInternal admin tooling improvements (no visible change for users).
v0.30.0Clearer drop frame, more consistent spectrogram preview
  • FixedDrag-and-drop frame: the dashed border no longer cuts through the text, and the loaded-file box is no longer oversized.
  • ImprovedFormat converter: every file, before and after conversion, now has a clear, consistent 'View spectrogram' button.
  • InternalInternal admin tooling improvements (no visible change for users).
v0.29.0Batch conversion, clearer names and copy across the site
  • NewConvert multiple files at once: drop a batch in, each file gets its own status, progress and download button, and one failed file never affects the others.
  • ImprovedThe file drop box is a bit taller for easier use; vocal remover's engine names are shorter (Spleeter, HTDv4, Moises), each now with a clear pros/cons summary to compare at a glance.
  • ImprovedDownloader and sheet-music PDF reader now show server status right on the page, not just when you press the button.
  • ImprovedReviewed and rewrote wording across the site to read more naturally for everyday users.
  • InternalInternal: folded the media converter's single-file logic into the shared batch path, hoisted duplicate CSS into the shared stylesheet, added a broader test suite, and fixed a version-badge alignment glitch.
v0.28.1Real-time server status updates
  • ImprovedVocal remover, downloader and sheet-music PDF reader now show server status in real time, so you know right away when a tool is ready to use.
v0.28.0Pick format by tapping a button, drop multiple files at once
  • ImprovedMedia converter and audio cutter now pick processing engine, format and bitrate with tap buttons instead of a dropdown menu, cleaner and easier on phones, matching the downloader tool.
  • NewMedia converter: select or drop several files at once, any that fail are listed clearly.
  • NewVocal remover now defaults to Spleeter. Vocal remover, downloader and sheet-music PDF reader now all check server availability (including when you return to the tab), warning clearly if it's temporarily down.
  • ImprovedThe upload box is taller and easier to drop files onto; sidebar icons are bigger and clearer, and now display correctly in related-tools sections.
  • ImprovedThe roadmap page now shows a fuller description for each item.
  • NewAdded a Zalo community group QR code on the About page and footer.
  • ImprovedMedia converter and audio cutter gained the full bitrate ladder (128/192/256/320 kbps) plus M4A output.
  • InternalInternal: reorganized the admin roadmap table's columns and fixed a bug where a roadmap item's visibility setting was silently dropped on save.
  • FixedFixed a broken icon (rendered as a blank box) on the public roadmap page and in the sidebar and admin-sidebar navigation.
v0.27.0Activity history now covers every tool, not just vocal separation
  • FixedThe redownload button now actually works and names files after the real title instead of a confusing URL.
  • NewAdded a "View" button to open results (spectrogram) right on the page, no need to download first.
  • NewThe Activity History page now has a tool filter, paging and a reload button.
  • ImprovedThe Activity History page was renamed and redesigned to reflect every tool you use, not just vocal separation, with a cleaner layout on phones.
v0.26.0The homepage now always opens in Vietnamese
  • FixedPreviously, if your browser's language wasn't Vietnamese, the homepage would silently switch you to the English version. The homepage now always shows Vietnamese by default; switch language anytime using the button in the side menu.
  • ImprovedA few tools (audio cutter, format converter, key/speed changer) now show their own icon artwork instead of a generic one; fixed a few broken images across tool pages.
  • InternalInternal: fixed sitemap entries returning 404 and a missing trailing slash in the homepage's hreflang tags, and added a new automated check to catch sitemap/hreflang mistakes before shipping.
v0.25.0The spectrogram now helps you spot fake-lossless files more reliably
  • ImprovedPreviously, the spectrogram's colour and sensitivity settings could make a frequency-cut file (fake lossless) look genuine, whether by accident or on purpose. Those settings are gone: the spectrogram now always renders to one fixed standard, so if a file has been cut, the cutoff line will always show, with no way left to hide it.
  • ImprovedThe paste-link box (for separating tracks or downloading a video) used to render at a different, narrower width depending on the page. It now displays at one consistent width everywhere.
v0.24.0Roadmap now shows right on the homepage
  • NewThe homepage now has its own Roadmap section showing what's being worked on as progress cards, replacing the old single link. Also added a /roadmap link to the footer and sidebar menu.
v0.23.0New roadmap page showing development progress
  • NewNew /roadmap page: see what is currently being worked on, overall progress as a percentage, and what has already shipped, grouped by topic. Linked from the homepage and the About page.
  • InternalUpgraded internal admin tooling (engineering test area, operations docs) to support the public roadmap page above. No visible change for regular users.
v0.22.3Removed redundant status labels, added social links to the homepage, fixed the link input
  • ImprovedThe homepage now shows the YouTube/Facebook/TikTok/SoundCloud/ZingMP3/Nhac.vn row above its link box, matching the vocal-remover and downloader pages.
  • FixedThe downloader's "done" screen used to show a broken waveform preview. Removed it. A single "View" button now opens the correct spectrogram page.
  • ImprovedThe link-paste box now has a quick clear button and Esc-to-clear, instead of manual select-and-delete, and it's wider than before.
  • ImprovedRemoved the "Ready / Under development" and "AI" status labels from the top of every tool page and the homepage. The same information already appears in the sidebar and footer, so repeating it at the top was just visual clutter.
  • ImprovedOld renamed-tool URLs (e.g. /khu-tieng-on/, /tim-hop-am/) used to auto-redirect to the new address; that redirect has now been retired after running in parallel for over a month.
v0.22.2Cleared remaining build warnings, trimmed page descriptions to the SEO limit
  • InternalThe ecosystem cross-link checker flagged nearly every real link as broken because it compared URLs without accounting for the tracking code appended to them. Fixed. False warnings dropped from 87 to 4, and those 4 are internal admin pages that were never meant to appear in search anyway.
  • ImprovedA few page descriptions (the English homepage, the top-up page, the PDF-to-MIDI page) exceeded Google's display limit, trimmed to fit without losing meaning.
  • InternalCleared 2 build-time warnings related to the audio/video processing library and the file-size warning threshold, no effect on the user experience.
v0.22.1Fixed a build-time technical issue, no user impact
  • InternalFixed a build warning caused by two files exporting an internal helper under the same name (not a real bug, just a naming collision warning), no visible or behavioral change for users.
v0.22.0Fixed separation/download runs freezing, decluttered the homepage
  • FixedFixed a bug that could freeze a separation or download run at 0%, with the Cancel button not responding.
  • ImprovedThe vocal-remover page now shows the link-paste box and the file-drop box at the same time, no more switching tabs.
  • ImprovedA cleaner homepage: redundant text trimmed, and the "Paste" button now sits right inside the link input.
v0.21.0Energy gifts: a celebration notice, cancellable before it's claimed
  • ImprovedAn Energy gift granted by an admin now shows a celebration notice the next time you open the site, instead of silently landing in your balance. It can also be cancelled before you claim it.
  • ImprovedA gift sent via link now shows who sent it, can carry a short note, and its link can be recovered if you misplace it.
v0.20.0Top-up packages widened, now starting at 5,000đ
  • ImprovedLaunched gifting Energy to another account via a link, with a receive-gift notification and its own transaction-history entry.
  • ImprovedTop-up packages now span 9 tiers from 5,000đ to 999,000đ, with the top tier's bonus raised to about +25% (was ~+23%).
v0.19.0Energy no longer disappears when a job gets stuck
  • FixedIf a job gets stuck or you close the tab midway, the Energy already spent is now refunded automatically instead of being lost.
  • ImprovedThe account page now tells you when some Energy is temporarily on hold and not yet fully refunded.
  • FixedAccidentally submitting the same file twice while the first is still running no longer costs Energy twice.
v0.18.1Link downloads now show a real waveform preview
  • ImprovedPreviewing a file downloaded from a link now shows a real waveform you can click to seek, instead of the browser's plain audio bar.
  • FixedFixed a rare bug where dropping two files too quickly into the pitch or speed changer could break playback.
  • InternalUnder the hood improvements to performance and stability across the interface, no visible change.
v0.18.0Press to run, a leaner paid flow
  • ImprovedPressing the already-priced button now runs immediately. The 4-line confirmation popup that used to interrupt every paid run is gone, across every tool.
  • FixedOut of free turns and out of Energy no longer grays out the run button on any tool. It now shows the real reason and a way to top up instead of doing nothing when pressed.
  • FixedVocal remover: a file over the free size limit but still within the paid one now flows straight into the paid path instead of dead-ending on an error.
v0.17.0A real top-up page: /topup
  • NewLaunched /topup: a real, shareable top-up page you can view even before signing in, ready to link from guides or posts. Signed-in visitors land straight in the familiar top-up flow (pick a package, scan the QR, wallet credited automatically) without hunting for the button inside the app.
  • ImprovedDropping a file on the homepage now works with any format an active tool can open, including PDF sheet music, which had no way in before. Drop it once and you land straight in the right tool with your file already loaded, no need to drop it again.
  • FixedThe version number no longer shows twice on mobile. It now lives only in the main menu (sidebar), as intended.
  • InternalFooter: refreshed the Aki Tao icon and tagged links to other AkiNet ecosystem sites for tracking.
  • ImprovedBilling for server-processed tools (vocal separation, PDF sheet-music reading...) is now settled against the server's real measurement after the run finishes, not just the number your browser sent at the start. If more was held up front than the run actually used, the difference is refunded to your wallet right after it completes.
v0.16.0Smoother link pasting, and the paid lane no longer gets stuck
  • ImprovedIf you already have Energy in your account, the process button now always leads to a result instead of getting stuck at the top-up screen. The payment confirmation now shows your current balance, and if you are not signed in, the login box opens automatically instead of leaving you to find it yourself.
  • ImprovedPasting a link into the vocal remover now works exactly like uploading a file: the same engine choices, the same single button, and your downloaded file is no longer lost if you switch engines. The preview is now a compact one-line strip instead of a large video box.
  • FixedSwitching processing engines on the result screen now keeps your file instead of making you pick it again.
  • FixedThe on-device separation engine (HTDemucs v4) can now process longer files as long as you have Energy to pay. It used to be blocked because the free-tier ceiling was wrongly treated as a hard device limit. The 5-stem option no longer locks incorrectly when you have enough Energy to unlock it.
  • ImprovedThe homepage now remembers the file you just dropped into the vocal remover: to try it with another tool, just click to switch, no need to drop the file again.
  • ImprovedThe sheet music PDF reader is now clearer about what it can do: it only reads files exported from notation software, not photos or scans. Page count and free allowance messages are also more accurate.
  • FixedAccepted file format lists were refreshed across five tools, fixing a bug that only showed half of the formats actually supported.
  • FixedFixed a few misleading instructions: the audio cutter used to mention a zoom button that does not exist, and the pitch changer now correctly calls its adjustment unit a semitone.
  • FixedFixed display glitches and imprecise wording in the link downloader's payment dialog.
  • InternalReorganized internal documentation per tool, improved the accuracy of the admin dashboard and top-up reconciliation tools, and ran a code quality self-audit across the entire admin area.
v0.15.1Smoother quota interaction, clearer notifications, and upgraded MIDI player
  • ImprovedProcessing action buttons now remain interactive when free turns are exhausted, letting you easily switch to paid lanes or top up without being stuck on a disabled button.
  • ImprovedStandardized quota notifications with clearer, concise wording across all tools.
  • ImprovedThe piano-roll view now appears as soon as the MIDI result is ready, instead of staying blank until you press Play.
  • FixedDragging the seek bar no longer leaves the view stuck. The piano-roll now scrolls to the right spot whether you seek forward or backward.
  • ImprovedThe PDF preview now fills its display box instead of shrinking to the page's original size.
  • FixedThe MuseScore file download button now shows the real MuseScore icon instead of a blank box.
  • InternalAdded an internal bookkeeping system tracking expenses, staff, and payroll, plus a monthly revenue/net summary. It is the kind of behind-the-scenes discipline that keeps operations transparent and pricing stable for you over time.
  • InternalAdded an internal reconciliation tool for Energy top-up transactions, so stuck or unmatched transfers get caught and resolved faster, meaning less time you wait on support when a top-up goes sideways.
  • InternalInternal monitoring now records exactly which tool and which engine (on-device or server-side) handled every run, the foundation for tighter quality and infrastructure oversight when something goes wrong.
  • InternalReorganized the entire internal admin area to follow actual operating logic (product → finance → internal ops → reference), alongside a self-review pass that caught and fixed internal rule violations before merging.
v0.15.0Two new tools: link downloader and sheet music to MIDI, plus a paid on-device separation option
  • NewNew Downloader tool: paste a link from YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, SoundCloud, ZingMP3, or Nhac.vn to get the file, with a choice of quality.
  • NewNew PDF to MIDI tool: preview your sheet music right on the page, listen to the result, and open a scrolling piano-roll view, no extra software needed.
  • NewServer-side separation with Spleeter: split a song into 2, 4 or 5 layers fast, with no model download, so it works even on a modest machine.
  • NewPaid on-device separation: once your free turns run out, you can spend a small amount of Energy to keep separating right in your own browser, with the price shown clearly before you confirm.
  • ImprovedRunning out of free turns now always offers you a sign-in or an Energy top-up, instead of just showing a dead-end alert.
  • ImprovedServer-side processing jobs can now be cancelled at any time, and if the server stops responding, you get a clear message instead of an endless spinner, recovering automatically once the server is back.
  • FixedCancelling no longer looks like the tool failed. The cancel button responds the moment you press it, and if the server already started, the page says plainly that the run can't be refunded and that the result is still recorded when it finishes.
  • ImprovedMore reliable Energy top-up: checking now stops after a while instead of running forever, shows elapsed time, offers a retry, and asks for confirmation before closing mid-transfer.
  • FixedOpening a dialog (sign-in, Energy top-up, admin) no longer lets the page scroll behind it or shift sideways.
  • FixedKeyboard navigation inside every dialog now stays correctly contained instead of jumping out to the page behind it.
  • FixedA finished result can no longer be overwritten by a different job that started afterwards.
  • FixedPicking a file that can't be read now shows a clear message instead of giving no feedback at all.
  • ImprovedTopping up Energy after your session expires now asks you to sign in again instead of showing a confusing error.
  • ImprovedAssorted under-the-hood improvements for more stable, reliable page rendering.
  • FixedThe English site now shows English messages when a server-side job fails or is cancelled, instead of Vietnamese text.
v0.14.0Tools remember your exact workspace state when switching pages and start instantly from the second run
  • NewTool Handoff: For the first time, all tools are connected through a shared active file. You can view the spectrogram of a separated track, then navigate back without losing your finished work. Never re-upload the same file twice!
  • ImprovedProcessing speed improved: On-device separations now start instantly from the second run because the AI skips reloading into memory, and all tools keep your results exactly as they were if you navigate away.
  • NewA processing technology picker now sits directly on the tool screen. This helps you know exactly which model you are using and its specific free allowance.
  • NewThe vocal remover gained a preview button for every individual track. You can now listen to the separated vocals or instrumental right away instead of having to download them first.
  • ImprovedDeep quota system upgrade: Your profile now displays free allowances grouped by specific AI technology and tells you exactly when new turns unlock. Browser-based runs are also fully saved to your history.
  • ImprovedMore resilient mobile processing: Switching apps or turning off your phone screen while running a browser-based tool no longer breaks the progress or falsely logs an error.
  • ImprovedSmart audio management: The player automatically pauses when you navigate to another page, stopping the issue where sound kept playing invisibly in the background.
  • ImprovedPlatform architecture and build optimization: Unified buttons across all tools and removed redundant AI core files. The experience is smoother, more consistent, and the homepage loads significantly faster.
  • ImprovedUI polish and accessibility: Removed redundant duplicated buttons, rebalanced the visual weight of file controls for better clarity, and added full keyboard navigation support for technology pickers.
  • ImprovedTransparent copy: Removed vague marketing phrases entirely. Every technology is now described strictly by its factual technical nature rather than empty promises.
  • ImprovedThe audio converter now has a clear free allowance and a paid option: use it free for a set number of turns each week, then pay per run just like the other tools on the site.
v0.13.0Format conversion runs on your device, and the free-turn counter tells the truth
  • NewThe Media Converter tool is live: convert to MP3, WAV, FLAC or M4A right in your browser, your file never leaves your device, free to use.
  • NewVocal Remover gained an on-device separation mode: split vocals from instrumental without uploading your file.
  • FixedThe free-turn counter no longer shows when you are using a mode that does not spend a turn at all.
  • FixedA file that is too long now offers a direct link to the Audio Cutter instead of just an error.
  • ImprovedDropping a new file onto vocal remover, audio cutter or spectrogram now replaces the current one immediately, no confirmation needed.
  • ImprovedTerms of Service now include a clause against abuse and creating multiple accounts to bypass free limits.
  • InternalUnder the hood improvements to quota handling, device account security and internal tooling, no visible change for users.
v0.12.0Specifications get their own tab, pricing rewritten, and a back control on every page
  • NewEvery tool page gained a Specifications tab. Looking up a single figure used to mean reading through the intro text. File size, length and supported formats now sit in their own table. Any figure not yet decided says so plainly instead of guessing.
  • NewA back control now sits under the breadcrumb, for when you open a page inside another app and have no browser back button. If you arrived straight from a search result it takes you to the parent section instead of pushing you off the site.
  • NewTool pages now show how many free turns you have left, with a link that opens the matching section of your account page.
  • FixedSigned-in visitors were still told to sign in on the 4- and 5-stem options. Each tile now states its real status: signing in opens up to 4 stems, and 5 stems reads as not yet available because it cannot be bought today.
  • FixedWhen the processing service was unavailable, starting a separation left the screen blank and looked broken. A progress bar now always runs so you can see the page is working.
  • FixedThe Vietnamese pricing page described the wrong model: Energy is paid per separation, not a class of account. Both languages now say the same thing, and the free allowance is stated as a rolling window rather than a weekly reset.
  • ImprovedThe pricing page is rebuilt: a three step explainer of how billing works, then one card per tool stating whether it is open for purchase. A tool with no price yet still appears, marked as not announced, instead of vanishing from the page.
  • ImprovedThere is no more mention of a Pro plan. It was never built and will not be: you pay with Energy per run, with no subscription. Anywhere a feature was promised as part of Pro now says it is planned, with no price and no date.
  • ImprovedThe manual service offer moved above the tab strip. It used to sit at the foot of the page under two or three screens of text, so the people who needed it most rarely saw it.
  • ImprovedA density pass across the interface: spacing and type sizes in cards, the admin area and the account page now follow one scale, cutting wasted space without making anything harder to read.
v0.11.1Honest limits, and fixing the places where clicking did nothing
  • FixedThe cutter stated a file-size ceiling higher than what it could really handle, so a large file could hang the tab. The number you see is now the number that actually works.
  • ImprovedThe selected span in the cutter's waveform is now orange, so you can actually see what you are keeping.
  • FixedPressing the separate button before choosing a file did nothing at all, which read as a broken page. The button now dims until it can run, and tells you to pick a file first.
  • FixedThe 4- and 5-stem options looked available and only refused after you committed. They now show up front that signing in is needed, and the message reads like a sentence instead of printing an internal field name.
  • FixedTools that are not open yet still showed a big "Separate now" button that jumped you to the separation page. It is now a quiet "Back to home", with a line saying the tool is being built and will launch soon.
  • FixedWhen something went wrong, the dialog sometimes showed a raw technical string. It now always reads as a plain sentence.
  • ImprovedSwept the copy across every tool page: removed descriptions of features that do not exist yet, and stopped presenting the file-size ceiling as a paid-plan perk when it is only a memory limit.
  • ImprovedThe spectrogram tool now records when someone is turned away for an oversized file, like the other three browser-based tools. Nothing about the file itself is collected: it only counts how often the ceiling is hit, so we know whether to raise it.
v0.11.0Live key and speed changing, plus a one-click demo track
  • NewNew tool to change a track's key (pitch) without changing its speed.
  • NewNew tool to change a track's speed without changing its key.
  • NewNo file to hand? One click loads the Aki Ecosystem demo track into any tool so you can see how it works.
  • ImprovedSwapping files is quicker: drop a new file anywhere on the tool panel to replace the current one. If you have unsaved changes you get a heads-up first, with an option to stop asking while you work through a batch.
  • ImprovedThe spacebar always plays and pauses: after you touch any control in the player, space still starts and stops playback instead of scrolling the page.
  • NewDifficult recordings can be done by hand: for takes an automatic tool cannot finish (noisy live recordings, overlapping voices, damaged files), you can now message the team from the Contact page.
  • ImprovedFree-tier limits (turns per 7 days, file size, duration) are now enforced server-side as well as in the interface, closing off ways to bypass them by tampering with the browser.
  • ImprovedLarge files for AI-processed tools now upload straight to the processing infrastructure instead of routing through our own server: faster and more reliable, with no size ceiling from the middle hop.
  • NewTwo upcoming tools: convert a sheet-music PDF into a MIDI file, and paste a link to automatically fetch audio or video for processing.
  • FixedFixed timestamps showing as garbled NaN:NaN on the Activity history page and the /me profile page, caused by older records being stored in an inconsistent date format on the server.
  • FixedPatched a sign-in verification gap: certain forged or incomplete login tokens could previously slip past validation; they are now rejected outright.
  • InternalBroad internal cleanup: unified tool naming throughout the codebase, plus an automated pre-build check that catches untruthful copy or data drift (no visible change for users).
v0.10.0Vocal remover now has its own page, every tool got a full guide
  • NewThe vocal remover tool now lives on its own page at /vocal-remover/, and the homepage introduces all 12 Tách Nhạc tools.
  • NewEvery tool page now shows a preview of what the tool produces, plus Intro / Instructions / Changelog tabs.
  • NewGuide content for every tool was rewritten to be far more complete and detailed.
  • NewTwo new guide articles: removing drums and removing bass from a song.
  • ImprovedImproved accessibility (screen reader, keyboard) for the upload-file / paste-link switch.
v0.9.0See at a glance which tools are ready, and which use AI
  • ImprovedThe tool lists in the sidebar and footer now clearly mark which tools are ready to use right now versus still under development, plus a small "AI" label on tools that process with AI.
  • ImprovedThe footer now lays out more cleanly across screen sizes, plus a refreshed site icon and appearance.
v0.8.0Trim audio right in your browser
  • NewThe Audio Cutter tool is live: drop a file, drag to pick the section you want on the waveform, preview it, then download as MP3 or WAV. Free, your file is never uploaded, everything runs in your browser.
v0.7.1Consistent tool addresses and internal cleanup
  • ImprovedTool URLs got one final pass for consistency; old links still redirect automatically, nobody is affected.
  • ImprovedContact page listing and some behind-the-scenes technical content tidied up.
v0.7.0New tool addresses and spectrogram upgrades
  • NewThe spectrogram viewer now has zoom, a minimap, select-and-loop a section, color themes, display style, frequency scale, and PNG export of the spectrogram image.
  • NewArticles and tool pages now suggest each other: every tool shows its related guides, every article shows its related tools.
  • FixedFixed the waveform appearing misaligned against the spectrogram in the spectrogram viewer.
  • ImprovedTighter sidebar menu: dropped the redundant "Try now" button, rows sit closer together.
  • ImprovedEvery tool now has a single address, shared by the Vietnamese and English versions. For example the noise remover moved from tachnhac.com/khu-tieng-on to tachnhac.com/background-noise-remover.
  • ImprovedFour tools also changed their path name to match how people actually search: the key changer is now pitch-changer, the speed tool speed-changer, chord detection chord-finder, and the spectrogram spectrogram-viewer.
  • FixedEvery old link still works: bookmarks and links you already shared redirect to the new address instead of hitting a dead page.
  • ImprovedContact page: dropped the quick email/phone row and moved the founders' Messenger and Zalo buttons to the top of the page so you can message them directly and get a faster reply.
  • ImprovedSpectrogram viewer: after clicking the waveform, seeking, or changing a setting, the spacebar plays or pauses right away, no need to move the mouse back to the play button.
  • NewThe spectrogram viewer gained two sliders for the waveform height and the spectrogram height.
  • FixedSpectrogram viewer: changing a display setting no longer flashes and rebuilds the whole interface. Only the waveform or the spectrogram redraws, and the file is never re-analysed.
v0.6.010th tool: spectrogram viewer
  • NewFree spectrogram viewer, running right in your browser: see the waveform and frequency spectrum of any audio file, and the file never leaves your device.
  • NewThree new guides on spectrograms: how to read the axes and colors, how to spot fake lossless files, and how to use it while mixing and mastering.
  • ImprovedGoogle sign-in is now faster with a one-tap prompt when you are already signed in to Google in your browser.
v0.5.1Infrastructure improvements
  • InternalUnder-the-hood server infrastructure and system stability improvements (no visible change for users).
v0.5.0Under the hood: device recognition and activity history
  • ImprovedYour activity history is now tied to the device you are using, so you can see your separations even before you sign in.
  • ImprovedWe removed the old traffic source tracking (UTM, referrer) entirely. It never worked properly in Vietnam and is no longer collected.
  • ImprovedThe privacy policy now states exactly what is actually stored.
v0.4.0More tools, more guides, a new menu
  • NewThree more tools on the way: applause removal, speed changer and an audio cutter. Ten in total.
  • NewEvery tool page now explains what it does, and, more usefully, what it can't. Converting mp3 to wav won't improve quality, and shifting pitch past 3-4 semitones will distort the voice.
  • NewTwo new guides: how to pull a karaoke backing track out of a song, and how to remove vocals (plus where it breaks down). The second covers copyright: separating a song for yourself is fine, releasing or monetising the result is not.
  • NewNew Contact page: the full service list, an FAQ, and a direct line to the founders via Messenger or Zalo.
  • NewAdded a UIKIT link in the footer: the site's design system reference, available in both languages.
  • NewThe homepage now has a karaoke backing-track guide, a plain specs table (price, accepted formats, the upload size limit, stem counts) and the date the content was last updated.
  • ImprovedThe sidebar has been rebuilt: a lighter translucent panel, consistent text and spacing, the page you are on now sits in a visible recess, and the Energy balance is tappable to top up.
  • ImprovedDropped the "Coming soon" tags from the tool lists. Each tool's own page still says where it stands, which is where it actually matters.
  • ImprovedRenamed a few tools to match what people actually call them: noise reduction is now "background noise remover", pitch shifter is now "song key changer".
  • Improved"Separation history" is now "Activity": with ten tools on the way, naming the log after one of them no longer made sense. Old links still work.
  • ImprovedYour profile page has been re-laid out: a compact left column for your details and wallet, a wide right column for your transaction history, and a much clearer top-up button.
  • FixedFixed English visitors landing on the Vietnamese version of a tool page.
  • FixedFixed the breadcrumb trail showing the wrong page name on tool pages and Contact.
v0.3.2Reading-progress fix
  • FixedThe article reading-progress bar now reliably reaches 100% right as you finish reading, instead of getting stuck below it.
  • ImprovedImproved search-engine data for the article listing page.
v0.3.1Richer article pages
  • NewArticle pages now support images, video, tables, code blocks, colored callout boxes, a scroll-aware table of contents, a reading-progress bar, and a share-link button.
  • NewAdded a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section to each article.
  • FixedFixed the collapsed sidebar hiding the Energy balance number and the Top-up button.
v0.3.0Top up Energy via VietQR
  • NewTop up Energy by scanning a VietQR bank-transfer code via SePay: the balance credits automatically as soon as the transfer succeeds.
  • NewThe /me page now shows your Energy wallet balance and detailed transaction history.
  • ImprovedSynced the sidebar's Energy balance with the wallet and top-up screen.
v0.2.3New, more refined look
  • ImprovedRefreshed the look with a single, unified cyan/blue accent for a cleaner, more professional feel, replacing the earlier cyan-to-magenta gradient.
v0.2.2Energy wallet groundwork
  • FixedFixed a display bug in the top-up screen's credited-amount total (top-up itself is still being finished, so no real user was affected).
v0.2.1Infrastructure improvements
  • InternalUnder-the-hood infrastructure and deployment stability improvements (no visible change for users).
v0.2.0Energy wallet & new tools
  • NewIntroduced the Energy (E) wallet: balance display, top-up via bank QR. Backend is still being finished so top-ups aren't processed yet; no fake transactions.
  • NewAdded 6 upcoming tools: pitch shift, noise removal, audio enhancement, AI mastering, chord detection, file format conversion.
  • ImprovedRedesigned the sidebar for clearer navigation and easier access to tools and your account.
  • ImprovedRefreshed site copy and added founder photos.
v0.1.1New dark theme
  • ImprovedSwitched to a high-contrast dark theme with a cyan-to-magenta brand gradient.
  • InternalDeployment infrastructure stability improvements (no visible change for users).
v0.1.0Tách Nhạc scaffold
  • NewPlatform foundation: UI, bilingual (VI/EN), sign-in, and the music separation tool.
  • NewContent hub (articles & guides) as the SEO pillar.
