What exactly does noise removal do?
It identifies and deletes unwanted background garbage (fans, traffic, wind) while preserving the audio you care about. Old frequency filters blindly cut out chunks of sound, often damaging voices. Our AI is trained on millions of hours of audio to precisely target the noise and leave your voice intact.
How is it different from stem separation?
<ul> <li><strong>Stem Separation:</strong> Splits a song into useful layers (e.g., Vocals on one track, Instruments on another).</li> <li><strong>Noise Removal:</strong> Hunts down the garbage audio, deletes it, and returns one single, clean file.</li> </ul> <em>Pro Tip:</em> If a recording is both noisy and needs splitting, always clean the noise first, then separate!
Will it make my voice sound weird or metallic?
<strong>Yes, if pushed too hard.</strong> When noise and voice frequencies heavily overlap, forcing 100% dead silence will inevitably eat into your voice, making it sound hollow or metallic. The secret: Reduce the noise just enough so the speech is completely intelligible. Don't chase absolute silence.
What types of noise are the hardest to fix?

Noise removal vs. Audio enhancement?
They solve two completely different problems: <ul> <li><strong>Noise Removal:</strong> A subtractive cleaner. It deletes noise, but if your mic sounded thin, it will still sound thin.</li> <li><strong>Audio Enhancer:</strong> A vocal polisher. It adds warmth, presence, and studio-like EQ to your voice.</li> </ul> <em>Best workflow:</em> If a track is noisy and muffled, <strong>Clean it first, Enhance it second.</strong> Doing it backwards will amplify the noise!
