6 years, and why we rewrote it from scratch
In 2020, a free separation tool was born to serve Vietnamese music makers: cover beats, karaoke tracks, isolated instruments. Six years on, it has processed over half a million separations - a journey we're proud to have shared with the community.
The longer we ran it, the more we wanted to give back: faster processing, a cleaner interface, and a firmer privacy promise for every file you send in.
That's why this new Tách Nhạc exists: rewritten from scratch on modern architecture, built on three commitments - clean separation, fast processing, and clear privacy. Many tools now run right in your browser, so the file never even has to leave your device; for tools that need a server, results are only kept temporarily so you have time to re-download, then deleted, never kept permanently.
Tách Nhạc v2 was envisioned, planned, and prototyped multiple times but never officially shipped - until acquiring the tachnhac.com domain in July 2026 finally locked in the launch.

Is Tách Nhạc really private?
Yes. Client-side tools (cutting, batch conversion, pitch/speed change, spectrogram) process 100% locally in your browser, zero bytes uploaded. Server-side tools (vocal separation, link download, PDF-to-MIDI) keep the result only temporarily so you can re-download it from History, then it's deleted automatically, never kept permanently. Your data is never made public, never sold to a third party, never used to train AI.
How does pricing work?
Core features are free on a rolling 7-day window, and most tools need no account at all. Beyond that, you pay with Energy strictly per job, no subscription. A failed job refunds the Energy already deducted automatically.
What makes this different from global tools?
A fully native Vietnamese interface written by Vietnamese speakers, not a machine translation; free core features; and a public roadmap so you know what we're actually building.
